The Lutheran Woman in Mission of the Carolinas is proud to announce that the first grant of the 2026-2028 biennium of $5,000 has been paid to the Shepherd’s Heart Ministry. Accepting the check is Rev. Eric Hollar, Director of Shepherd’s Heart Ministry.
Presenting the check are Glenda Drum, a member of Bethel Lutheran Church LWML, and Paula Daniels, Vice President of Mission Outreach for the LWML Carolinas District.
Shepherd's Heart Ministry is a non-profit disaster response chainsaw team that shares the love of Christ after natural disasters by offering free tree and debris removal. The short answer to “Who are we?” is that we are a Lutheran Chainsaw Team. The vision of the Shepherd’s Heart Ministry is to train up and partner with Christ-centered volunteers who impact homeowners and communities that have been affected by storms with the Good News of Jesus. The ministry has been helping others in crisis for 20 years.
